SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center is a not-for-profit, 190-bed Level I pediatric trauma center in St. Louis, MO. Cardinal Glennon Medical Center specializes in neonatology, cardiology, pediatric and fetal surgery, and cancer services. Our hospital is home to the Bob Costas Cancer Center, Dana Brown Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, St. Louis Fetal Care Institute, Dorothy and Larry Dallas Heart Center, St. Louis Cord Blood Bank and the Missouri Poison Center, which provides free statewide service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Director of Emergency Services is responsible for departmental oversight, exhibiting expert knowledge of all areas of emergency services operations, productivity, human resources, patient flow, and relationship- based care. This individual provides departmental leadership, directs and develops staff as well as educates and acts as a resource to all staff and physicians. The director facilitates and ensures achievement of exceptional standards of patient/customer experience, quality of service, employee engagement / accountability, physician relations and fiscal goals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-MSN or Masters Degree in a Healthcare related field required.
-3-5 years current clinical emergency department nursing experience.
-1-3 years hospital based emergency department leadership experience.

-Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.

The Director initiates and monitors pharmacy quality program and collaborates with hospital departments to assure efficiency of pharmacy programs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
-Graduate of a 5 year program from a College of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education required
-Masters Degree or enrollment in Masters program preferred
-Pharmacist (RPh) licensed in the State of Missouri.
-3 years Director of Pharmacy experience preferred in a hospital setting
-5 years of hospital Clinical Pharmacist experience required

Under general supervision, following established policies and procedures, supervises daily pharmacy operations, including employee relations, drug, and equipment procurement. The Pharmacy Leader also assists the Regional Director of Pharmacy in budgeting, planning, policy and procedure development, and ensures that pharmacy services complies with legal, accreditation, and certification requirements. The Pharmacy Manager also serves as the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) for Pharmacy Services on campus in accordance with Missouri Board of Pharmacy regulations.

Requirements include:
